The Beginning and Returning Teachers Network are a great place to meet others starting out as well as CRTs. Both Wodonga and Wangaratta have a BaRT group.
Wangaratta have just announced their next up and coming meeting with all the details.

A heads-up for our next BaRT meeting.
We have booked Linda Anania who will be looking at THINKING SKILLS.
Linda is a well known consultant in the field of thinking skills and mathematics and is keenly sought across the state, so we are really looking forward to her insight into this most important area of the curriculum.

Date: Wednesday 19th August 2009
Venue: Martini's Cafe, Murphy Street, Wangaratta
Time: 5:30 - 7:00pm
Cost: Nil

We hope as many people as possible can make this session as it really is something we need to get our heads around to ensure that we are the most effective teachers we can be.
