CRT Support Networks and MyVIT.
As you have seen in the video, any Professional Development Seminar/Workshop approved by Pdi is provided with a number for you to enter which gives you "Verified PD Hours". CRT Networks are able to submit their PD opportunities to Pdi and, providing approval is granted, recieve a number. As of November 2011 the Wodonga CRT Support Network takes full advantage of this system and you can find the Pdi Programme Code (if available) on our Certificate of Participation here:
When announcing PD seminars and Workshops we will provide information on whether it is Pdi approved and comes with a code for you to enter. Please note that all DEECD funded PD seminars and workshops should come with this number as approval for funding is granted in a manner consistent with Pdi criteria. We will also try our best to make sure that any self-funded PD seminars and workshops fall within the Pdi guidelines and recieve a number.
Any Professional Development activity that doesn't have a number can still qualify as Professional Development! You just enter it via the "Teacher Identified PD" section complete with your reflections on the activity. Certificates without Pdi numbers will still help you qualify this PD if you are one of those teachers who's PD submissions are randomly audited.
Note: Our Monthly Meetings will not include Pdi numbers and always count as "Teacher Identified PD".Further reading can be found here:
