Positive Partnership.

A Professional Development Seminar on Autism with presenter Sue King.

15 October, 2011

Sue King is an Autism Teaching and Learning coach for the Victorian Department of Education. She is well known in the Wodonga/Hume region not only in this capacity but as a teacher at Belvoir Special Development School before the Department of Education requested her expertise.

This Professional Development Seminar is about the characteristics and impacts of Autism as well as the impacts of Autism on the families of autistic children. It also covers how to apply the supplied resources in the classroom to help autistic children get the most out of their education.

The estimated value of this PD is $140.00 per head but the majority of the costs are covered by special funding for CRTs from the Victorian Department of Education to ensure that CRTs recieve continuing educational support. All you pay is your initial booking fee and everything else is free!

Thankyou to the Victorian Department of Education for the funding necessary to get a venue, catering, a presenter and resources. Your support is greatly appreciated.

There are still a few seats left and we will be accepting bookings until Wednesday the 12th of October. We are sorry but because numbers are needed in advance for catering we cannot accept walk-in attendances. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to recieve continuing education in a social atmosphere run by CRTs for CRTs.
