I would just like to thank all involved in the first CRT meeting for the year. I am hoping those who attended found it informative. Those who did, we talk about PD for CRTs in the area, resources online that are helpful for our bag of tricks and general CRT things. We had some new CRTs join us and regulars come for a catch up.
A big thankyou to Anne for setting up the venue and being a great host at St. Monica's Primary School. The use of the interactive whiteboard in the library was fabulous.
Sorry there aren't any minutes for this meeting. It was very relaxed and informal. Lots of chatting and mixing.

Developmental Curriculum - Baranduda P.S.
I worked for Baranduda P.S last fortnight and in their prep rooms they have taken a new approach to literacy. Melbourne University has been researching Developmental Curriculum in the early years in the classroom.
Kathy Walker is the author of this new and exciting way of prep children to explore their environment as well as learn new letters and sounds. The Developmental Curriculum (as far as I understand) is to help ease the transition between pre-school and school.
Well don't take my work for it. Baranduda P.S are holding an informaiton session for parents (and anyone else interested) on Wednesday 17th March at 6pm.
